Dr Hugh McCafferty M.B. Ch.B., F.R.C.S., D.R.C.O.G. graduated from Glasgow University in 1979 and worked in various surgical posts before entering general practice. He joined The Limes in May 1991. His main interests include all aspects of general medical practice and he provides Child Health Surveillance, Maternity Services, Anti-coagulant control and Minor Surgery.  Dr McCafferty is the Senior and Executive Partner responsible for administrative duties.

    
     
Dr Anita Jain M.B. B.S., D.C.H., D.F.F.P. qualified in medicine form the University of Delhi in 1985. Subsequently she trained in paediatrics and for a short while practiced as a paediatrician. She then trained in general practice in the UK, predominantly in the Thanet area and joined The Limes Medical Centre early in 2005. She has extensive experience in the treatment of children's diseases and she is also trained in child protection procedures. She provides family planning services such as IUCD and Implanon insertion with a view to doing them in an integrated well woman clinic.  Dr Jain is a GP Trainer and participates in the practice Anti-coagulant Clinic.

 

Dr Brian Summerfield M.B. Ch.B. D.R.C.O.G. qualified at Sheffield University in 1972 and worked as a Registrar in general medicine at the Northern General Hospital Sheffield before moving to the Post-graduate Institute of Obstetrics at Chelmsford. He joined The Limes in 1976 and was senior partner for  more than 20yrs.  Now semi-retired, he is a part-time partner at The Limes.  Dr Summerfield is currently LMO to the DVLA and Civil Service.  Having relinquished his executive role he takes the lead in project work. Dr Summerfield provides Child Health Surveillance, Maternity Services, Minor Surgery, and is the Lead Physician for Diabetic services.

 

Dr Harsha Wickramanayake MBBS MRCS DRCOG nMRCGP qualified in Sri Lanka in 1998. He joined The Limes Medical Centre in January 2012 as a Salaried GP. His special interests are Orthopaedics and would like to become a GP trainer in the future.

 

Dr Muhammad Durrani MBBS MRCP MRCGP qualified in Pakistan in 2002. He joined The Limes Medical Centre in March 2012 as a Salaried GP. His special interest is Dermatology.

 

Dr Amina Khalid MBBS MRCGP qualified in Pakistan in 1999. She joined The Limes Medical Centre in January 2013 as a Salaried GP.
