Welcome to The Limes Medical Centre

The Limes Medical Centre is a purpose-built premises in Trinity Square which will function as a health centre for the 21st century. The premises are equipped with rooms to provide additional services to patients and include a modern treatment suite.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.

The surgery will be closed on the afternoon of 24th November 2016 from 12.30pm for mandatory GP and staff training. For emergencies only contact 111.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

If you are eligible for a Flu Vaccination please contact the surgery to book an appointment.

Named Accountable GP

From the 1st of April 2015, the practice is required under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP.

All our patients are registered under The Limes Medical Centre as a pooled list. For convenience your named accountable GP will be your named usual GP.

If you wish to be told the name of your accountable/usual GP, please ask the receptionists when you are next in the surgery

Please note: there is no need to telephone the practice for this information.

Having a named/usual GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the Practice. Your named/usual GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor.
